Are You All In?

psalm 52-8

Today I ask you a simple question: Are you all in? Are you all in for your love for Jesus? Are you all in for the AMAZING things He has done for you and is currently doing? Are you all in for the AMAZING things He STILL has planned for you? Are you all in for your love for the only one Who loves you no matter what? Are you all in for your love for the only one Who will never stop loving you, no matter how much you may reject Him? ARE YOU ALL IN? Continue reading “Are You All In?”

Hurry is the Enemy.

poiema girls blog

Wow. I am SO thankful this beautiful Sunday morning. SO thankful for a God who somehow always seems to provide me with the answers I need. Who always somehow, mysteriously answers my prayers. The message this morning at church was exactly what God wanted me to hear…it was God’s answer to a prayer I have been praying for the past day or two. And all I could think was to write a post about it because I know for a fact that it’s something other people need to hear too 🙂 Continue reading “Hurry is the Enemy.”

A New Chapter

That right there is just a little glimpse of my new house. And no I’m not writing this post, or sharing that picture, just to share my decorating tastes 🙂 This post is simply all about the new chapter I have started in my life…and obviously a new home signifies that new chapter. New chapters can be kind of scary. They can be full of uncertainty and never knowing what in the world could happen one minute to the next! But whoever said that was a bad thing? Whoever said that not knowing and not having a solid plan set in place was a recipe for disaster? Society has said it is. Continue reading “A New Chapter”

Fear Says Don’t, when God Says Do.

Fear says don’t, when God says do.

Those words were spoken to me yesterday in a faith-filled conversation with someone, and they are still with me to this moment. They are so true. And they are SO meaningful to me. I don’t know where any of you are at in this very moment of your life, but guys just know that fear is an evil thing. Fear is what keeps you from doing what God is calling you to do. Fear is from the devil. Fear is the devil’s way of holding you back…holding you back from experiencing the goodness that God wants you to experience. Fear is preventing you from taking that jump into the beautiful abyss of The Lord. Fear paralyzes you. Fear confuses you. Fear literally says “DON’T. STOP. Are you sure you want to do that? What if this happens? You’re better off just staying put.” FEAR IS EVIL. It is probably the most evil tool in the devil’s arsenal. Continue reading “Fear Says Don’t, when God Says Do.”
