That right there is just a little glimpse of my new house. And no I’m not writing this post, or sharing that picture, just to share my decorating tastes 🙂 This post is simply all about the new chapter I have started in my life…and obviously a new home signifies that new chapter. New chapters can be kind of scary. They can be full of uncertainty and never knowing what in the world could happen one minute to the next! But whoever said that was a bad thing? Fear says don’t, when God says do. 

Those words were spoken to me yesterday in a faith-filled conversation with someone, and they are still with me to this moment. They are so true. And they are SO meaningful to me. I don’t know where any of you are at in this very moment of your life, but guys just know that fear is an evil thing. Fear is what keeps you from doing what God is calling you to do. Fear is from the devil. Fear is the devil’s way of holding you back…holding you back from experiencing the goodness that God wants you to experience. Fear is preventing you from taking that jump into the beautiful abyss of The Lord. Fear paralyzes you. Fear confuses you. Fear literally says “DON’T. STOP. Are you sure you want to do that? That goofy group of girls right there is EVERYTHING. They own their faith like you wouldn’t believe! Surround yourself with people like that…people who will encourage ownership.

Wednesday’s message at Student Ministries was EVERYTHING. It was everything that people young and old alike need to hear. It was everything that I needed to hear because it brought so much reassurance that I am indeed on the right path with God. I left feeling elevated and humbled in my faith journey, KNOWING that I am in a great place with my Father. KNOWING that I really do own my faith…an amazing thing to own. The World You Were Born Into…

We are all born into our own little worlds. My world is different from your world, your world is different from my world, and each person who reads this blog has different worlds from one another. We all were born into our own little worlds! But just because you were born into a specific world, and were raised in that world, doesn’t mean that’s the world God intended you live for your ENTIRE life. In fact, what we are born into and raised in, is most likely not what God wants us to stay in for the rest of our lives. And that’s the struggle that a lot of people face…I definitely have faced it. I definitely have struggled with what I was born into, how I was raised, how I’ve been told how to live and what I have been programmed into thinking about life in general. To Someone Special…

I recently read a pretty mind blowing article about singleness and marriage. A person I hold very dear to my heart shared it with me, and man am I glad he did! I can’t even begin to tell you how the message in the article is still setting in right now as I’m typing this, and will probably continue to set in days from now. It was THAT touching and definitely a true message from God Himself!
