The World You Were Born Into…

We are all born into our own little worlds. My world is different from your world, your world is different from my world, and each person who reads this blog has different worlds from one another. We all were born into our own little worlds! But just because you were born into a specific world, and were raised in that world, doesn’t mean that’s the world God intended you live for your ENTIRE life. In fact, what we are born into and raised in, is most likely not what God wants us to stay in for the rest of our lives. And that’s the struggle that a lot of people face…I definitely have faced it. I definitely have struggled with what I was born into, how I was raised, how I’ve been told how to live and what I have been programmed into thinking about life in general.

To Someone Special…

I recently read a pretty mind blowing article about singleness and marriage. A person I hold very dear to my heart shared it with me, and man am I glad he did! I can’t even begin to tell you how the message in the article is still setting in right now as I’m typing this, and will probably continue to set in days from now. It was THAT touching and definitely a true message from God Himself! I don’t plan on writing a long blog post today full of my rambling, so I’m keeping this short and sweet 🙂 I just want to share a message from the heart to someone special (the person who shared the article with me) and whomever else needs to hear this message right now in their life. For all I know there could someone out there who stumbles upon this, and says “Hey! This was written for me!” 🙂

Fear. Don’t Let it Keep You from Truly Living.

Refuse to be fearful about what will happen to you. God is faithful and He will take care of you if you trust Him.

The greatest mistake we make is living in constant fear that we will make one.

Worry and Doubt, No Wonder We Have It. But, We Don’t Need It!

Speaking of blessings and gifts from Jesus, these girls. These girls are a blessing in my life. These girls make me realize that worry and doubt are NOT necessary. I am SO thankful for these beautiful girls.

The Race You Run Does Not Have to Be Alone.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

⁹ Two are better than one,
    because they have a good return for their labor:
¹⁰ If either of them falls down,
    one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
    and has no one to help them up.
¹¹ Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
    But how can one keep warm alone?

    two can defend themselves.

An Unexpected Late Night Talk, A Strong Message From God and Running…LOTS of Running.

Luke 20:38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.

Isn’t that amazing? Isn’t it awesome to know that we are ALL alive in Christ? We have a God who does not know death. We have a God who only knows life. We have a God who brings us life. We have a God who gives life to the dead. Guys, that’s AMAZING! It’s amazing to think about the fact, that even when I may feel at my lowest and darkest point in life, I can look to my Father and He WILL give me life. He WILL give me new life!

Luke 17:11-19 Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy

Do Not Worry

²² Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. ²³ For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. ²⁴ Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!²⁵ Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? ²⁶ Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

²⁷ “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. ²⁸ If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! ²⁹ And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. ³⁰ For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. ³¹ But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
