Today I ask you a simple question: Are you all in? Are you all in for your love for Jesus? Are you all in for the AMAZING things He has done for you and is currently doing? Are you all in for the AMAZING things He STILL has planned for you? Are you all in for your love for the only one Who loves you no matter what? A New Chapter

That right there is just a little glimpse of my new house. And no I’m not writing this post, or sharing that picture, just to share my decorating tastes 🙂 This post is simply all about the new chapter I have started in my life…and obviously a new home signifies that new chapter. New chapters can be kind of scary. They can be full of uncertainty and never knowing what in the world could happen one minute to the next! But whoever said that was a bad thing? Isn’t that amazing? Isn’t it awesome to know that we are ALL alive in Christ? We have a God who does not know death. We have a God who only knows life. We have a God who brings us life. We have a God who gives life to the dead. Guys, that’s AMAZING! It’s amazing to think about the fact, that even when I may feel at my lowest and darkest point in life, I can look to my Father and He WILL give me life. He WILL give me new life! Be True to Who You Are.

Just last night I witnessed an action from a someone I know very well that made me stop and say to myself “Why did they say that? That’s not them at all. That’s not the person I know.” And that’s when my mind got racing. That’s when I decided that a blog post was in order. That’s when I started to think about the fact that there are so many of us out there who struggle with staying true to themselves. Staying true to who they really are. Staying true to who GOD created them to be. It’s an insecurity thing. It’s a growth thing. It’s a self acceptance thing. It’s an “I’m afraid my friends or others will judge me, or make fun of me” thing. There are A LOT of things that go into why a person struggles with being themselves…with being who they REALLY are. You Have a Purpose.

You have a purpose. 

We all hear that phrase on a regular basis. I’ve said that about a billion times in this blog, alone! But, have you every really thought about that phrase? Have you ever REALLY thought about it’s meaning? Read the book of Ezekiel, and you will most definitely begin to understand it’s meaning. I don’t know how familiar you are with Ezekiel, but he was a well-known prophet of God. God spoke to the nations and His people Israel, through Ezekiel – he told of the coming destruction and WHY that destruction was coming. Ezekiel was God’s way of preparing His people for the pain that was to come. But more importantly, Ezekiel was God’s way of showing His people why the pain was coming and how they could escape from it. That was Ezekiel’s purpose. That was his God-given purpose…and that’s the meaning of the phrase. THAT’S what you need to take away from this post. Ezekiel’s purpose was God.
